Vote FOR Cuyahoga County Treasurer Jim Rokakis
Ironically, the one county official that should NOT have a primary does. I cannot imagine that Cuyahoga County voters will turn their backs on the man who has had their backs through these tough times. But just in case you need to be reminded who he is, what he stands for and how he works for us each and every day. Go here to Jim’s website and to Meet.The.Bloggers for Jim’s conversation with us to refresh your memory. Please VOTE on TUESDAY, MARCH 4th!

I see that George was up blogging the prior comment before 4:30 this morning, and I wonder whether that was early, or late. When I was younger, I used to call friends long distance in the wee hours, late, when I was exuberant, and now I would have blogging as well, and Skype.
Jim is unique around here in that he is not only a savvy politician but also a reader and a thinker who can be our very able advocate in speaking and in writing. He’s also a great networker and seems to have generated a lot of good will. He has a skill set that few others do, honed in the Cleveland Public School System when it was excellent, and at Oberlin later, and at Cleveland Marshall after that. He’s a local product that speaks to the best of what is possible around here. Like Gloria, I have no idea of why he has an opponent, except that the Bill Mason gang of political lowbrows and thugs (the machine that really isn’t) thinks they can pull a power play.
