RE: Whose City Is It?

Denise Donaldson, our friend and neighbor, has written a great post questioning the recent Midtown corridor Innerbelt meeting and the Fulton Road Bridge Replacement project community meeting held here in our neighborhood last Saturday at Brewed Fresh Daily.  To read more, go there.

Hello Ferris’s , I met you at the RealNeo /Fong presentation. We talked about Fulton Bridge and ODOT etc. Yesterday I heard from Ed Hauser ( see his posting at http://www.neobridge.net/node ) and I went over to your site and then to BFD ( Whose city is it?) and now I think it is time that we do a MoveOn sort of routine here in Cleveland. We certainly have enough dissatisfied people, but we need to start working together for a bigger, better and more effective impact on our runaway officials. I told Tim I would send a book reference, but I realize that I don’t have email addresses for either of you which is why I am contacting you in this manner.

I agree Martha we need to band together to make our elected officials remember who puts them in office can also take them out of office. Was it your mother who led the charge that saved shaker lakes and who put a county engineer out of office or is that someone else that I met recently? I love that story. It shows what a determined group of citizens can accomplish.

We need to put that kind of determination to use NOW!

I hope that you visit again so you get this message. I am also contacting Ed Hauser and asking him to forward my email.
