What is also nice about this establisment is the story of its' owners--the Gallimores. They grew up in some pretty tough circumstances and have overcome significant obstacles to become one of the most successful restaurants on the west side of Cleveland. A pizza supply house told me they sell more pizza than anybody in Cleveland. They deserve all the credit because of their hard work and their belief in themselves.

Good ole' don-gi's...They've come quite a ways since it was started in the late 90s..

The view of the Speedway and West 22nd is not the most picturesque, but it's still better than some other places.

regards,
will.

Are you thinking what I'm thinking - "Parent realizes that child realizes that parents are not evil!" I love when my kids do something that remind me of that.

As for Mr. Redfern and the ODP and blogging politics, when I mentioned to John Kohlstrand that I'd had a one on one meeting with Redfern, he quickly, and with an eager sound in his voice, said something like, What did you think!? Isn't he good - or something along those lines, in a complimentary way.

I started to do a smiling laugh. My answer, which is the same as it's been since that day that I met him, the guy so wanted to control the conversation, and I so wasn't going to let that happen. He might control what he says, but he can't control what I think or believe or speculate, no matter what information he does or doesn't provide.

I pray that what we're seeing is just the newness of being at the head of the table, but from everything that everyone else has been saying, and all the stuff that seems to be happening - the negative in particular - I'm quite afraid that I'm giving way too much benefit of the doubt.

Time - and votes - will tell.
